Working with Antoine Maalouf has been a true pleasure and privilege. Over the past ten years, from one project to another, Antoine became much more than my architect; he became a dear friend and trusted creative partner.

From the very beginning, he brought exceptional passion, commitment, and generosity to our work together. He helped shape the interiors of Dar Zefta, as well as the architecture and interiors of Zefta Art House, with a deep respect for the spirit of the place and a genuine sensitivity to its history, materials, and emotional meaning.

What makes Antoine special is his rare ability to combine tradition with modern creative design. He understands heritage without being trapped by it, and he brings contemporary ideas without ever disconnecting them from context. He has a refined eye for materials, textures, colors, and objects, and he is able to bring together pieces from different eras and styles in a way that feels seamless, warm, and authentic.

His design approach is eclectic, but never random. Every detail has intention. Every space tells a story. And beyond the design itself, Antoine remains committed until the very end, from concept to execution, ensuring that the original vision is carried through with care and precision.

I am grateful for the journey we have shared and for the beauty, soul, and character he helped bring to Dar Zefta and Zefta Art House. Antoine is not only a talented architect and designer; he is a passionate creator, a generous collaborator, and a person who puts heart into every project he touches.

Antoine Maalouf was the only architect we wanted to work with to shape the interior of Salon Beyrouth. We had first discovered his work in a small restaurant we visited, where its charming, soulful details made us fall in love with his approach.

We were deeply aligned on the aesthetic and spirit of what Salon Beyrouth could be. Our exchanges felt so organic that the very first rendering proposed by his office was the one.

He understood our vision and brought it to life.

Antoine combines a strong appreciation for time efficiency with a keen understanding of budgetary constraints. He is also highly knowledgeable about the history of Lebanese design. We collaborated on the production and scenography of two major studiocur/art projects in Baalbek and Tripoli, where he demonstrated an impressive ability to adapt creatively to the specific spatial, logistical, and site-related constraints of each location!
