Salon Beyrouth

Located in Clemenceau, Ras Beirut (Lebanon), a 350 square metre mid-century residential home was transformed
into a whiskey bar and venue for jazz.
Turn of the century patterns, furniture and fixtures where used in order to reignite memories of the old capital.
Carrara, Travertine and Nero Marquina marble, mosaics, ornamented doors and art deco designs accentuate the
space. All fixtures and furniture were also custom-designed according to lighting, acoustics and space management.
The existing elements of the space were emphasized and the previous residential functions of the various rooms
and spaces were maintained. The space was rendered in 3D, accounting for with projected lighting colours, hues
and intensities. Daylight and its reflection on the finishing was considered in order to achieve a smooth transition
between day and night.
